Social Studies Through the study of Social Studies students are enabled to function competently as citizens of a democratic society in an interdependent world. Based on their understanding of the past, involvement in the present, and vision of the future, students demonstrate creative problem-solving and informed decision-making as they struggle with social challenges. Student responses reflect responsible stewardship, social justice and the teachings of the Catholic Church.
