Old Log Theater Fall Trip

 

The second grade class goes to see the Holiday Children’s Play at the Old Log Theater each year.  This year the play showing is Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.  The Montgomery branch of the First Slovak Catholic Ladies Association sponsors this trip.   We join children from St. Wenceslas School.  We look forward to this trip each year.

 

 

 

Last Supper Copper Tooling Art Project

 

Each year the second grade class at H.R.S. completes a cooper tooling wall picture of the Last Supper.  We are in need of a parent, grandparent or friend to make picture frames for us each year.  Please see Mrs. Trcka or call the school if you can help us out.

 

 

Spelling Tests

 

The second grade children are given a spelling list at the beginning of each week.  They are asked to do spelling homework/practice each night.  We have a spelling test at the end of each week.
