Science: The Five Senses- Sight, Sound, Smell, Taste, and Touch

Religion:

Prayers to know: Our Father, Glory Be, and Prayer Before Meals.

Concepts: God loves us, God made all things, God made us special, we talk and listen to God through prayer, and we can all care for God’s creation.

Masses: Kindergarten attends all of the Birthday Masses and Masses celebrating Holy Days for the first half of the year.  After the Winter Break Kindergarten will start attending Mass every Friday.

10-31 Halloween party at 2:00.  Send an easy costume for your child to change into.  You may bring a treat to share with the class.  Please remember our Kindergartner with a peanut allergy.

Scholastic’s Classrooms Care- Write down the titles of books your child reads to or with you.  When we get 100 books read Scholastic will donate 100 books to children in need!

Blue Reading Folders- Blue Reading Folders will be sent home on Mondays to be returned by Friday.  Please have your child read the book in the folder and then write the title, date, and sign your name on the folder.
